Dear Unit 4 Members,
We know that it has been some time since you have received a bargaining update from us. However, thank you for your patience as we prepare for the upcoming round of negotiations between APC and CSU.
We are pleased to announce that APC and the CSU Bargaining Team will meet on Monday, September 28.
Our Bargaining Team has considered CSU’s financial position, identified our bargaining priorities, and established our strategy for negotiating an agreement. Our priorities have not changed. As always, we strongly believe Unit 4 employees should receive a fair and meaningful ongoing salary increase that reflects the value of the work you all do.
We are prepared to return to the table, and we hope CSU is also prepared to negotiate a reasonable compensation package for Unit 4 employees.
We understand how much every dollar in your paycheck matters, especially given the rise in the cost of living. We also know many of you have been eagerly awaiting news about the status of negotiations. We acknowledge your concerns, and we share your desire to achieve a fair outcome.
Your voice matters throughout this process. Please remember that if APC reaches a tentative agreement with the CSU, only dues-paying APC members are eligible to vote on ratification.
