Dear Colleagues,
As my time with APC draws to a close, I would like to convey my gratitude to all of you for the support you have given me and our Union throughout my years on the statewide leadership.
Together, we have accomplished a lot. We have been at the forefront in the battle to preserving CALPERS as a premier retirement and health care administrator system and have successfully lobbied with our union allies for adequate funding for the University. To be sure, APC and the other CSU unions face serious challenges in the future, but I want to reassure you that you are in good hands; the incoming APC leadership is made up of seasoned team players who are already busy laying a new course of action with bright new ideas for the future of our Union.
They, however, will need your help, and it is my hope you will continue with your unabated support of APC in the years to come. I am grateful for the trust and confidence you deposited in me these years, and wish to thank you for the honor of a lifetime in representing you. May you all find success in every aspect of your professional lives.
