Communications Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the APC Communications Committee is to assist the organization in its responsibility to maintain regular communications with Unit 4 employees.

Education Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the APC Education Committee is to provide trainings on union related topics to the APC community.  The committee is responsible for the development and implementation of training materials and workshop presentations.

External Relations Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the APC External Relations Committee is to serve as the liaison between APC and external groups and organizations including but not limited to the CSU Board of Trustees, legislative representatives, both state and national, unions representing CSU employees and other public employee unions. Review proposed legislation impacting Unit 4 employment and make recommendations to the APC Council regarding endorsement of legislation impacting Unit 4 employees and/or candidates for office. Monitor potential changes in health and retirement benefits being considered or developed by CalPERS or the legislature. 

Organizing Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the APC Organizing Committee is to recruit and educate CSU Unit 4 employees on the benefits of the union and their rights within the CSU which will build better working conditions through employee empowerment for all.

Policy And Procedure Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the APC Policy Committee is to ensure the integrity of APC policies and procedures.  The committee will review, and edit if necessary, new policies and by-law changes to ensure parity with existing documents and the APC Constitution. The committee is responsible for updating and maintaining all policy and procedure files and documents.
